American Coin-Op Featured a Coin-Op 101 Column by Jay McDonald

The November issue of American Coin-Op featured an article by Interim National Sales Manager for Huebsch®, Jay McDonald. In the Coin-Op 101 column, “Seasonal Changes Bring New Opportunities,” McDonald discusses the ways that certain times of year can bring changes for store owners. With each season, a store must adapt in order to accommodate a change in traffic. By marketing to seasonal customers and providing incentives, laundromat owners can attract and retain customers with relevant and timely specials. 

“By recognizing peak seasons and targeting operations and marketing to different year-round customer segments, laundromat owners can significantly increase their traffic,” writes McDonald. “Furthermore, by using an intuitive control system, owners can optimize operations and turn off-seasons into opportunities!”
